I have been in a world I dun belong
Pretending to be a lion when I'm just a kitten
When all else roars, I stand there meowing
I'm just a kitten. Small and yelping.
I'm just kitten who wants to be a lion.
With the mane and all, like the merlion.
But try as I might, I'm still a kitten.
It's in the genes I say, and it can't be any different.
I'm not making any sense, but I dun really care.
Cos I just want the world to know that sorrows, I have my fair share.
I'm bad at literature, and english, and science with that eco-world.
I wonder what I'm good at and my role in this world.
I've been in world I dun belong.
It's time to return to the place I long left.
To place that breeds familarity.
Where is this place
I still can't see
I've been searching so aimlessly
When I've found that ground, only then will I be happy
It'll be like a lost child finally finding her daddy
I'll continue searching, perhaps for eternity
I hope I find it soon, and not come back feeling empty
Where is that place, that I belong, please tell me
For my soul is tired from bruises, cuts, and violent enemies

I'm a simple girl. With a simple wantings.
I'm not the smartest, not yet the stupidest.
I'm not the prettiest, not yet the ugliest.
I'm not the slimmest, not yet the fattest.
I'm not yet the funkiest, not yet the nerdiest.
I'm not the noisest, not yet the quietest.
I'm not yet the most sociable, not yet the hermit-like.
I'm not the richest, not yet the poorest.
I'm not the best bowler, not yet the worst.
I'm just in between. Just in the middle. Just the average girl.
Mediocrity kills.
